100 year old cabinet - October 2010

This is a turn of the century cabinet I found at the Rideau Carleton Raceway
flea market for $5.
Spent about 2 days stripping and refinishing it. Always a nice surprise to
find exotic veneer under paint!

100 year old desk - August 2010

This is a turn of the century solid wood desk. It was a fantastic house warming gift from Dan Martelock and Tanya Sprowl - which actually departed from their 19th century Glebe apartment basement - left there for quite some time. It was in pretty rough shape when I got it - but about 7 days later - it was in my office - perfect for my laptop.

Elgin Oak Table - August 2010

This was a solid oak table in the basement of my last apartment - discarded by a previous tenant probably due to its deplorable state. So a quick sand (2-3days) and some walnut stain - and voila. Free kitchen table for the new house!
