Dystopia Rising : A series of contemporary art paintings inspired by Medieval Christian artwork and recent research trips to Italy, Turkey, Berlin, Armenia, Georgia, and Greece. The body of work explores a range of contemporary issues such as COVID-19, Trumpism, mass shootings and gun culture, environmental pollution, social media, biotechnology, and our technological evolution, through the lens of Medieval, Byzantine-stylized paintings.
